Petrol prices remained unchanged for the fifth consecutive day today across all the major cities in the country. Diesel prices also stayed same.
In Delhi, a litre of petrol costs ₹71.94. Those who are in Mumbai have to pay ₹77.6 for a litre of petrol. In Kolkata, petrol is retailed at ₹74.58 a litre. A litre of petrol is available at ₹74.73 in Chennai.
A litre of diesel is available at ₹64.77 in Delhi. In Kolkata, diesel is retailing at ₹67.09. In Mumbai, you have to pay ₹67.87 for a litre of diesel. In Chennai, diesel is priced at ₹68.4.

Earlier this week, the prices of LPG cylinders were hiked by a steep ₹144.50 to ₹858.50 per cylinder. This was one of the steepest increases in LPG prices in over 5 years.
A non-subsidised 14.2 kg cylinder will now cost ₹858.50 in New Delhi, ₹896 in Kolkata, ₹829.50 in Mumbai and ₹881 in Chennai.
