Business News/ News / India/  ‘Privacy naam di v koi…’: Diljit Dosanjh on reports of being ‘touchy’ with Taylor Swift
Back

Punjabi icon Diljit Dosanjh, who is popular for his terrific sense of humor, reacted to the reports saying that he got ‘touchy’ with American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift at a restaurant in Vancouver. He talked about privacy on Twitter after going through such headlines.

Yaar Privacy Naam Di v Koi Cheez Hundi Aa (There is something called privacy)," the Punjabi actor and singer tweeted.

A news outlet reported that Diljit Dosanjh and Taylor Swift spent time together at Cactus Club Cafe Coal Habour in Vancouver and both were seen laughing and being ‘touch touch’.

“Vancouver Patrons were in for a surprise when they saw two of their favorite stars dining together at Cactus Club Cafe Coal Harbor on Monday night. Multiple sources confirmed that Taylor Swift & Diljit Dosanjh were laughing & being “touch touch"," the news report read.

Meanwhile, Netflix has announced a new India original film Chamkila starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is based on the life of Punjabi singer and musician Amar Singh Chamkila.

When he unveiled his striking new avatar for the highly anticipated film Chamkila, the renowned singer-actor has left his fans pleasantly astonished with his first look. He appears without his turban, sporting what seems to be a wig, although the actor himself has refrained from confirming this aspect.

Diljit Dosanjh’s no-turban has received backlash from some social media users. “paaji pag kaha gayi twaadi, tussi hi to kahe to hun Mai koi role pag bina nahi Karanga? Pher? (Where is your turban, brother? It was you who once said that you’d not do any character without a turban. Then?", said one user.

Some users had a problem with AR Rahman being the music director of the movie. They believe someone from the Punjabi movie industry should have worked for the music of the movie. “Typical bollywood behavior, making a musical film on Punjab with Mumbai music genre, “baj baja baja" like punjab doesn’t have its own music. What is this cringe," wrote one user.
