After a week packed with higher than expected quarterly results of companies like HDFC, Mindtree, and many more last week, many other companies announced their quarterly results for the second quarter of the current fiscal year on Monday.ACC reports ₹87.35 crore loss in Q2. Tata Metaliks net profit grew to ₹14.29 crore in the quarter that ended in September. It was a phenomenal increase from net profit of ₹1.22 crore reported in previous quarter. However, the company reported net profit of ₹54.82 crore in the same quarter last year.
Tata Metaliks showed a phenomenal growth from last quarter in the quarter under review. The company's revenue from operations increased by 31.6% to ₹876.98 crore in Q2 from ₹666.37 in Q1. The company reported ₹644.84 crore of revenue in Q2 last year.
Tata Metaliks closed at 0.34% lower at ₹720.10 ahead of Q2 results. The company share opened at ₹722.35 apiece.
ACC company recorded a consolidated profit after tax of ₹227 crore for the quarter under review. The company had reported a profit of ₹396 crore in the previous quarter of current financial year. The cement maker's total expenses jumped by 30% to ₹4,162 crore.
Tata Coffee's standalone revenue from operations reached to ₹261.55 crore in Q2 from ₹232.16 crore in Q1. The company recorded ₹189.87 crore of revenue from operations during the same quarter in previous financial year.
Reflecting a robust growth in its Q2 results, Tata Coffee's net standalone profit grew by a whopping 379.1% sequentially to ₹143.55 crore in second quarter from ₹29.96 crore in previous quarter of FY23. The company recorded ₹18.29 crore of net standalone profit in second quarter of FY22
ACC shares picked up some pace after the announcement of its second quarter results. The company, shares closed 1.09% higher at ₹2,269.70 on the BSE today.
PVR company's EBITDA for second quarter stood at ₹170 crore compared compared to ₹86.8 crore for the corresponding quarter in previous financial year.
PVR reported a year-on-year increase in its total income. The company reported ₹703.13 crore of total consolidated income which was 155.5% higher than ₹275.21 crore of total income earned during the same quarter last year. However, the company's income was outpaced by its expenditure which stood at ₹813.33 crore in the quarter under review. The company reported ₹1002.26 crore of income in previous quarter.
Maintaining its high growth, PVR reported a 470.74% net consolidated revenue growth to ₹686.72 crore in Q2 of current financial year from ₹120.32 crore in the same quarter of previous financial year. However, the company witnessed a quarterly fall in its growth trajectory as it earned a net consolidated revenue of ₹981.40 crore in previous quarter of FY23.
After announcing a net loss of ₹71.23 crore in its second quarter of current fiscal year, PVR shares began plunging in the stock markets. Currenty, PVR Ltd shares are trading 0.44% lower at ₹1685.80. The company shares opened with a gain at ₹1700.95
ACC reports a whopping decline its earning and reported a net consolidated loss of ₹87.35 crore for the second quarter ended in September 2022 against a consolidated profit of ₹450 crore during the same period last year.
In its second quarter results announcement, the leading multiplex chain operator PVR Ltd on Monday announced a consolidated net loss of ₹71.23 crore, which is a straight 53% decline in its profit earned in the same quarter last year. The company had posted ₹153.13 crore profit in the quarter ending September in FY22.
