Odisha Train Accident: High-level inquiry to be conducted, says Railways Minister; netizens react
Odisha Train Accident: Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has spoken on Coromandel Express accident and said that a ‘high-level inquiry' will be conducted.

“Our focus is on rescue and relief operations. Restoration will begin after clearance from district administration. A detailed high-level inquiry will be conducted and the rail safety commissioner will also do an independent inquiry," ANI quoted Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw as saying.
Netizens were not particularly happy to hear the Railways minister’s comment. “Ridiculous to call the Railway Safety Commissioner for conducting inquiry after a train accident. Is he not supposed to be accountable for safety lapses? Let's establish an independent transport investigation agency like NTSB for authentic enquiry," said one user.
“The Hon’ble Railway Minister should own up responsibility, at least moral and put in his papers. It is high time that innocent lives cannot be allowed to be lost by sheer administrative oversight of railway authority," said another user.
