- The Bill, which will split J&K into two Union Territories, was passed by Upper House through a voice vote and 125 were in favour while 61 were against
- With the passage of the Bill in the Rajya Sabha, it will now be discussed in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday
New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha on Monday passed the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill that seeks to scrap Article 370 and Article 35A in Jammu and Kashmir, while also bifurcating the state into union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
