Superstar Shah Rukh Khan reportedly ‘begged’ profusely and requested Narcotics Control Bureau's Sameer Wankhede to go easy on his son, Aryan Khan, revealed the alleged chats between NCB's zonal director, Wankhede, and SRK during the drugs-on-cruise case in 2021.

Sameer Wankhede showed the chats in his defence in the ongoing case of corruption and alleged violation of the rules during the raids on the Cordelia cruise in October 2021. He was accused of demanding 25 crore from Shah Rukh Khan for not framing Aryan Khan in the Cordelia drugs case.

In his message, actor Shah Rukh Khan sent multiple text messages to Sameer Wankhede requesting him to go easy on son Aryan Khan. He also mentioned that sending him text is “officially inappropriate and maybe outright wrong but once as a father" he wished to speak with Wankhede, reported Free Press Journal.

“Sameer sahib may I speak with you for a minute, please. Regards shah rukh khan. I know this is officially inappropriate and maybe outright wrong but once as a father if I can speak with you. please. Love srk," the actor began the conversation.

He also thanked the NCB director for sharing thoughts and personal insights and ensured that Aryan Khan will “turn out to be someone" he can be proud of.

“Can't thank you enough for all the thoughts and personal insights you gave to me about my own. I will make sure that he turns out to be someone that you and I are both proud of. This incident will prove to be a turning point in his life I promise, in a good way. This country needs honest and hardworking young people to take it forward. You and I have done our PARTS THE NEXT GENERATION HAS TO FOLLOW and it's in our hands to mould them for the future. Thank you once again for your kindness and support . Love SRK," Shah Rukh added, according to FPJ.

In the chats, Wankhede replied to Shah Rukh Khan's request of being easy on Aryan Khan with, “Of course don't worry." To this Shah Rukh Khan promised Wankhede that his son will be a good person and expressed his gratitude to Sameer Wankhede.

“I am going by what you said....I hope you feel my son has had the lesson you felt he should have had and henceforth he is able to build his life to be an upright hardworking young man towards a bright future. Thanks for all your kindness and care. ( sorry it's a late night message and I hope I am not disturbing you....but I was awake....naturally as a father ) Love srk,"

To this, Sameer replied that Aryan Khan “has been a good kid" and assured Shah Rukh Khan that ‘Hard days will be over soon". Mint could not independently confirm the chats between Shah Rukh Khan and NCB’s Sameer Wankhede.

Aryan Khan made the headlines after he was arrested during an NCB raid on Codelia cruise ship in 2021. Afterward, the star kid had spent nearly a month in jail. Later, he was exonerated from this case by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) last year after there was no evidence found against him proving any involvement in the drug case.
