Six more coronavirus cases in Kerala

ERNAKULAM : Kerala confirmed six more cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, taking the toll of affected people in the state to 15, the highest in the country.
The fresh cases have been reported from Pathanamthitta district of southern Kerala, which had reported five other cases on Sunday. The other case that turned positive is a three year old child in Kochi’ Ernakulam district. The child, admitted in an Ernakulam hospital, is the youngest person in the country so far, tested positive for the virus.
The state has increased the vigil in the wake of fresh cases. All patients are stable, said Amar Fettle, a doctor and head of Kerala’s task force to battle COVID-19. A total of 1,116 people are under surveillance for the virus in the state. Of the 15 cases reported in the state, three have fully recovered.
