Raipur (Chhattisgarh): Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo on Thursday said that there was a suspected coronavirus case from Raipur which has been tested negative.
"There was a suspected case from Raipur, the report has come and it tested negative. All nine reported cases in the state have tested negative till today (Thursday)," said Deo in a press conference.
Deo also convened a video conferencing meeting with collectors, superintendents of police (SPs) and health officials of all 28 districts and took stock of preparedness in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
"Doctors and collectors have informed that isolation wards have been set up in all the districts. There is nothing to worry about but we have to stay alert and prepared," he added.
The country's total number of positive cases of coronavirus reached 30 on Thursday after a person in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh tested positive. Earlier today, Vardhan confirmed that 29 were tested positive for coronavirus in the country till March 4.
