SUV hits, drags scooter in Lucknow; couple, their 2 children dead
A family of four, including two children, died after being hit by a high-speed SUV and dragged for 100 meters in Lucknow.

Four members of a family, including two children, lost their lives when they were hit by a high-speed SUV and dragged for a distance of 100 meters in Lucknow on Wednesday, the police informed.
As reported by ANI, the incident took place near Gulchain temple in Aliganj, Lucknow.
According to local witnesses, the car, which was approaching from the Tedhi Puliya district, collided with the scooter before reaching the temple. The residents also claimed that the driver of the car failed to stop even after realizing that the scooty was caught underneath the SUV and sparks were being emitted due to the dragging.
All four individuals involved in the incident were rushed to the trauma center at King George's Medical University (KGMU), where they were unfortunately pronounced dead.
The police have identified the man involved in the incident as Ram Singh, aged 35. His wife was 32 years old, and their two children were 10 and 7 years old, according to authorities.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sadness and offered his condolences for the tragic loss of lives in the accident.
