PremiumMumbai-based Udit and Saailee have decided to celebrate their upcoming wedding in a special and unique way! They have ordered a personalised and customised barrel of Jack Daniel's whiskey worth $10,000 (plus tax) for their wedding on November 14.
Each bottle from the barrel, which roughly contains about 200-225 bottles of exclusive whiskey, comes with its own distinctive flavour, taste profile and characteristics.
The bottles will be gifted to select guests to commemorate their wedding, and will also be used for celebrations during the various ceremonies, including the bachelor's party.
The couple has become the first individuals in India to be a part of the Jack Daniel's Personal Collection Program and order the barrel.
The program is an opportunity for Jack Daniel's fans to purchase their own customized selection of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel whiskey. Only the barrels from the top of the Jack Daniel's barrel house are set aside for the Personal Collection program as those are exposed to the most extreme temperatures, creating the maximum flavour and colour within the whiskey.
Each barrel has its own personality and characteristics from being exposed to those extreme temperatures that create subtle differences barrel to barrel, which is a signature of the Single Barrel collection.
The program offers a unique, special and personalized experience for consumers. First, they have several different ways to make their barrel selections, making the program even more accessible. Participants can have the barrel selected for them by the Master Distiller, receive samples based on flavour profiles, or they can travel to the distillery in Lynchburg and select their barrel with the help of Master Distiller or his team of Master Tasters.
Jack Daniel's has also created premium collectibles and experiences to be enjoyed with every Personal Collection selection, including a custom barrel head, framed barrel certificate as well as a unique purchase certificate for the customer, luxury decanter and glassware.
In addition, purchasers will also receive a personalized Jack Daniel's Single Barrel bottle with their name, logo or special message on it. Lastly, the new program will offer a series of touchpoints to keep customers updated on their selection, as well as a Barrel Concierge, who will be dedicated to each buyer's Personal Collection experience.
