UP man marries off wife to lover after discovering affair; internet says ‘better than getting murdered’ | WATCH

In an unexpected turn of events, a man from Sant Kabir Nagar in Uttar Pradesh married off his wife to her lover after finding out about their affair.

According to reports, the man, Babloo, is a resident of UP's Sant Kabir Nagar got to know about his wife Radhika's affair after his family informed him about it.

Babloo and Radhika got married to each other in 2017. They have two children aged seven and nine.

Babloo also vowed to take care and handle the upbringing of their children, according to reports.

As per India Today, Babloo used to remain away from his home most of the time to earn his livelihood. This left Radhika alone at home.

It was then Radhika started having an affair with a younger man from the village. Their relationship lasted for a long time.

When Babloo came to know about the relationship, he gave Radhika a choice between him and the other man. She chose her lover, ending the marriage.

Babloo then took the both to court and solemnised their marriage, following which he also took them to a temple for the rituals.

A video of the marriage between Radhika and her lover have gone viral, which have prompted netizens to react to the action by Babloo.

“This is anytime a better option than committing suicide or getting murdered. A man from Sant Kabir Nagar in UP got his wife married to her lover after he found them in a compromising situation,” one user said.

“Why is she crying ? Isn’t that she wanted,” another commented.

A third user said that the lover should not trust Radhika.

“This guy should not trust her. She will cheat him also. Once a cheater always a cheater. Its a habit that doesn't go,” one said.

Other users lauded Babloo's action.

“Instead of choosing violence or revenge, this man took the higher road. It takes real strength to walk away with dignity rather than letting emotions lead to tragedy,” a person commented.

However, others expressed fear.

“Still no guarantee that she will not file false cases against him to extort money through police and courts,” a user said.

“Self preservation kicked in & might’ve ended up saving this man’s life,” another said.

“With the judiciary ,law & order being the way it is ; this could be a way forward for men. For even if the man cries in court for help to save his life, the judge can laugh & get away with it,” a third user added.
