Vedanta appoints Sonal Shrivastava as CFO

PremiumNew Delhi: Vedanta Ltd on Monday announced appointment of Sonal Shrivastava as its chief financial officer (CFO), effective 1 June, 2023.
Shrivastava brings over 26 years of financial leadership experience across multiple sectors to the company, joining from the Holcim Group where she served as CFO for the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa operations, the mining major said in a statement.
Vedanta chairman Anil Agarwal said her successful track record of delivering robust financial outcomes across multiple sectors makes her a valuable addition to the company.

In her new role, Shrivastava will lead the group’s financial strategy, responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analytics, as well as driving digitalization and profitability.
