Three people including a child were killed after a car rammed into them during morning walk in Hyderabad. The police confirmed the deaths and said that the victims include a mother and daughter. The police added that four others are also injured in the incident which occurred at Bandlaguda Road on Tuesday morning.
The driver of the car escaped after the accident and the locals helped the police to shift the injured to a nearby hospital. The bodies of the three deceased were transferred to the mortuary at Osmania Hospital.
The police have registered a case against the driver and the search is on. The eyewitnesses claim that at the time of the accident, the car was at high-speed and the driver seem to have lost control of the car.
The videos of the unfortunate accident are doing rounds on social media with users expressing anger at the negligence of the driver.
The video shows that the car was moving at dangerously high speed at the time of the accident and skidded off the road while navigating a sharp turn. The car rams into the pedestrians with extreme force causing their death on the spot.
The surveillance cameras have captured the footage of the accident and now police will use it to track the accused.
In other news, 15 people were killed after a container overturned after crashing with multiple vehicles in Maharashtra's Dhule district. The reports from the accident site claim that 28 people are also injured in the accident while the exact cause of the incident is yet unknown.
The authorities shifted the injured to the nearby hospital and an investigation is also conducted into the possible reasons for the accident.
