The prolonged protest by top Indian wrestlers at Jantar Mantar is set to complete a month but their demands fell on deaf ears. Grapplers including names like Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, and others are seeking action in the sexual harassment charges against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Their 15-day ultimatum to arrest the WFI President ended on Sunday. And now, the Khap Panchayat in Haryana's Rohtak will hold candle march at the India Gate on May 23 followed by another 'maha panchayat' on May 28.

Wrestlers' Protest: Candle March from India Gate on Tuesday
The protesting wrestlers at Delhi's Jantar Mantar announced that they would conduct a candle march on Tuesday from 5.00 pm from India Gate. "We are doing a candle march tomorrow at India Gate from 5:00 pm. We urge people to support it. This protest is being carried out peacefully since day one," said Sakshi Malik.
Wrestler Sakshi Malik also urged people to support their candle march at India Gate on Tuesday.
On 19 May, the protesting wrestlers had marched from Jantar Mantar to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in New Delhi on their 25th day of protest against Brij Bhushan.
Vinesh Phogat accepts WFI chairman demand, says, ‘ready to undergo narco test’
Wrestler Vinesh Phogat on Monday told the media, "I would like to tell Brij Bhushan that not only Vinesh, all the girls who have given the complaint, are ready to undergo the Narco test. It should be done live so that the entire country knows about his cruelty to the daughters of the country".
However, Bhushan demanded a polygraph test, popularly known as a lie-detector test, of the wrestlers. Phogat appears to have misnamed the polygraph test as narco.
The protestors have been demanding the registration of an FIR against the WFI chief and his arrest into the allegations of sexual harassment.

Wrestlers will organise a 'mahila maha panchayat outside the new Parliament building during its inauguration ceremony.
The decision was taken at a maha panchayat called Maham Chaubisi khap — a cluster of 24 villages — in Haryana’s Maham town in Rohtak district.
Women from Rohtak, Jhajjar, Narnaul, Faridabad, Rewari, Charkhi Dadri, and Gurugram districts of Haryana are likely to participate in the mahila mahapanchayat.
