A woman's tweet asking if a 23-year-old's annual salary of ₹40 lakh is sufficient in India has sparked a debate on social media, with varying opinions.

A woman has recently posted a tweet on the microblogging platform asking people whether ₹40 lakh per annum salary is a sufficient amount for a 23-year-old youth in India.
“Is 40-LPA salary good enough for a 23-year-old in India?" a woman tweeted.
