PM Modi to inaugurate first-ever National Training Conclave in Delhi today, for ‘future-ready civil service’

PM Modi will inaugurate the first-ever National Training Conclave in Delhi today, aimed at capacity building in civil services. The conclave is part of the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) - ‘Mission Karmayogi’.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the first-ever National Training Conclave at the International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, stated an official release from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

PM Modi will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The event, scheduled for Sunday at 10:30 am, aims to enhance capacity building in the civil services and is organised under the auspices of the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) - 'Mission Karmayogi.'

The Prime Minister, known for his emphasis on improving governance processes and policy implementation, will also address the gathering during the conclave. 

 "The National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) - 'Mission Karmayogi' was launched to prepare a future-ready civil service with the right attitude, skills and knowledge," the statement said.

According to the official release from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the National Training Conclave, hosted by the Capacity Building Commission, seeks to foster collaboration among civil services training institutes and bolster the training infrastructure for civil servants across the country.

The conclave will witness the participation of more than 1500 representatives from various training institutes, including Central Training Institutes, State Administrative Training Institutes, Regional and Zonal Training Institutes, and Research institutes.

The attendees will comprise civil servants from central government departments, state governments, and local governments, along with experts from the private sector. 

This diverse gathering aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas, identify challenges being faced , explore opportunities, and generate actionable solutions and comprehensive strategies for effective capacity building, stated the official release.

During the conclave, eight-panel discussions will take place, each focusing on key concerns pertinent to civil services training institutes. Topics of discussion will include faculty development, training impact assessment, content digitisation, and other significant areas that contribute to the enhancement of civil services training.
