In commemoration of completing nine years as India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is set to address a public meeting in Ajmer tomorrow afternoon. The event, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Rajasthan unit, aims to energise party workers and bolster support ahead of the upcoming assembly polls in the state later this year.

Preparations for the gathering are underway, with the construction of huge domes spanning an impressive four lakh square feet area at Kayad Virshramsthali near Ajmer. Pankaj Joshi, a BJP media coordinator, revealed that the venue will accommodate a vast audience, with 74 blocks designated for attendees. He also said that BJP will officially launch its month-long 'Maha Jan Sampark' programme across Rajasthan on the occasion.

At the entry point of the dome, a one-kilometer-long 'Yojna Gallery' has been established. This gallery will showcase the progress and development of the BJP-led NDA Government over the past nine years. Based on the theme of 'Seva, Sushashan, and Garib Kalyan' (Service, Good Governance, and Welfare of the Poor), the gallery will display the national schemes and data highlighting their beneficiaries. Schemes such as Shramyogi Mandhan Yojna, Agnipath, Atal Pension Yojna, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojna, Kaushal Vikas Yojna, PM Ujjwala Yojna, Mudra Yojna, MSME, the construction of the glorious Sriram Mandir, and the inauguration of the new Sansad Bhawan will be the main attractions for visitors.

The Prime Minister is expected to arrive directly in Ajmer and address the gathering, which is estimated to draw over 2 lakh party workers, senior leaders, Union ministers, as well as Rajasthan's Members of Parliament and Members of the Legislative Assembly. BJP State President C P Joshi, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, and Pradesh Sangathan Mantri Chandrashekhar are already present in Ajmer to oversee the preparations minutely.

With the upcoming assembly polls scheduled for December, the BJP intends to involve party workers, leaders, MLAs, and MPs from ten adjoining districts of Ajmer, encompassing 8 Lok Sabha and 45 assembly constituencies.

As of now, it remains unclear whether the Prime Minister will also visit the Brahma Temple in Pushkar to pay his respects, according to the coordinator.

Over the past ten months, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has participated in various BJP events across Rajasthan, including public meetings at Abu Road and Dausa, where he laid the foundation stone for and dedicated road projects. He also flagged off the Vande Bharat train via video conference in Jaipur, attended Gurjar's Bhagwan Shree Devnarayan Mahotsav at Malseri Dungri in Bhilwara district, and addressed a rally at Mangarh Dham in the tribal belt of Banswara district.
