Following a court session on Friday, her anticipatory bail request was rejected. The SIT remanded Prajwal Revanna until June 6 and has asked Bhavani Revanna to be present at her Holenarasipura residence on June 1 for inquiry.

Prajwal Revanna Arrest News Live: Bhavani Revanna, the daughter-in-law of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, applied for anticipatory bail on Wednesday in connection with a woman's kidnapping case in KR Nagar in Mysuru district. The anticipatory bail plea of Bhavani Revanna, who is the mother of suspended JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna and the wife of MLA H D Revanna, was denied by the Special Court for People's Representatives on Friday.

The SIT Inspector said on Thursday said, "Since there was a need to conduct an inquiry with you, you are hereby informed to be present at 'Chennambika Nilaya' (her house) at Holenarasipur in Hassan district on June 1 from 10 am to 5 pm," reported PTI.

Prajwal Revanna Arrest News Live: Special Public Prosecutor Ashok Naik argued on behalf of SIT and sought 14 days of police custody.

Prajwal's lawyer Arun G said that one day of police custody is enough for the interrogation and requested the court not to remand him for more than a day.

After hearing arguments, court remanded the suspended JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna to police custody till June 6.

Amid Prajwal's arrest, Karnataka High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing on the petition filed by Prajwal Revanna's father and MLA HD Revanna for quashing of an FIR related to a kidnapping case until June 3, reported PTI.

The case is registered in KR Nagara police station against HD Revanna and others for the alleged abduction of a victim of sexual assault by Prajwal Revanna.

Prajwal Revanna Arrest News Live: Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Friday said suspended JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, facing allegations of sexually abusing several women, was arrested after completing due process, and further legal procedures will follow. He said the arrest will help the Special Investigation Team formed by the state government to probe cases against the Hassan MP.

"Prajwal Revanna landed around 12.40 am -12:50 am from Germany's Munich. As there was an arrest warrant against him, SIT accordingly arrested him and took him into custody and further legal procedures they will follow today. I'm yet to discuss with our officials," Parameshwara said.

We are waiting for his response and accordingly, we will take things forward once we hear from him or once the 10-day period expires.”
