Rippling co-founder Prasanna Sankar addresses wife’s ‘kidnapping, prostitution’ charges, makes WhatsApp chats public

Rippling co-founder Prasanna Sankar, whose divorce has come under public scrutiny following shocking claims by his wife Dhivya, has now responded to the allegations one by one in a thread on X. To counter allegations of ‘kidnapping,’ ‘prostitution,’ and more, Prasanna Sankar has shared a screengrab of their WhatsApp chat, along with emails and legal documents.

Prasanna Sankar's statements have come after Dhivya addressed a press conference outside a police station.

On March 9, Dhivya preferred a complaint with the Thirumangalam police that following her husband Prasanna Sankar's advice, his manager Gokul Krishnan took away her son. But her son was not sent back to her after two days, as agreed upon earlier, she had stated in the complaint, police said.

Countering the “kidnapping” allegations, Prasanna Sankar shared a screenshot of his WhatsApp conversation with Dhivya and said, “Primarily the complaint says I kidnapped the child. She says I took him by force and threats. PFA - she instructs voluntarily when we should pick up the child from her house, as per the terms of the MOU custody agreement.”

"Secondly, she claims I "forced" her to sign the MOU against her will. PFA - her lawyer is negotiating with my lawyer regarding the agreement. After many back and forths, a settlement is reached, voluntarily. I have never spoken to her till date, for many mos, after false cases," Prasanna Sankar said.

The X post was followed by an email conversation between their lawyers.

On the “sex predator,” “sexual misconduct,” and “prostitution” charges, Prasanna said, "Then she alleges that I recorded porn videos of her and distributed them. Calls me a "sex predator"; She made the same allegations to SG police. It's a 30 year sentence if true."

"SG police investigated this by seizing my phone and computers. Found no evidence and have cleared me of all these fake charges. She accused me of these again in Washington. Again judge ruled in my favor."

“Then she alleges that I was charged in some prostitution case in the US. Charges in the US are a matter of public record - any netizen can background check and confirm that I was never charged with anything,” he said.
