Sonu Sood's wife, Sonali Sood, along with her sister and nephew, sustained injuries in a car accident on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway, according to HT City report.

Sonu Sood's spokesperson has confirmed that actor's wife Sonali has suffered injuries in the accident.

“Yes, Sonali has met with an accident. Sonu is currently unavailable,” the spokesperson was quoted as saying.

An insider privy to the developments has revealed to HT City that Sonali Sood was traveling with her sister and nephew when the accident happened.

They, too, have suffered injuries in the car accident.

The accident occurred late on Monday night (March 24), and both Sonali Sood and her nephew are currently being treated at Max Hospital in Nagpur.

According to the initial investigation, the car in which Sonali Sood was sitting hit a truck from behind. The accident happened at 10.30 pm on Monday night.

Max Hospital, Nagpur, said in a statement that the condition of all the three injured persons was stable when they were brought in.

“Sonu Sood's wife, Sonali Sood, her sister and nephew were brought to the Emergency Department of Max Hospital, Nagpur at approximately 10:30 PM last night. All three patients were conscious upon arrival and had stable vital signs,” the hospital said.

It added: “They had sustained multiple abrasions and bruises and were thoroughly evaluated for any internal injuries, none of which were found. Her nephew was discharged after first aid. Sonu Sood's wife, Sonali Sood and her sister remain under observation and are recovering well. Their condition is stable.”
