Mumbai Indians captain Suryakumar Yadav and his wife Devisha Yadav have invested ₹21.1 crore in residential real estate in Mumbai.
According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, the couple has purchased two luxury apartments in Godrej Sky Terraces located in Deonar area of Maharashtra's capital.
The properties were registered on March 21, 2025.
The cricketer bought two apartments on consecutive floors with a combined carpet area of approximately 4,222.7 sq. ft and a total built-up area of over 4,568 sq. ft.
The luxury flats include six designated car parking spaces.
According to the registration documents, a stamp duty of ₹1.26 crore and a registration fee of ₹30,000 were paid by the home buyer.
Godrej Sky Terraces spans an area of 1.05 acre and features 3 BHK and 4 BHK apartments. The average property price is ₹52,433 per sq. ft.
Between March 2024 and February 2025, the residential project recorded 25 sale registrations, amounting to a total transaction value of ₹202 crore.
In February, Team India captain Rohit Sharma had rented out his property in Lower Parel area of Mumbai for ₹2.6 lakh per month.
According to property documents reviewed by Square Yards, the apartment, in Lodha Marquise – The Park, is part of a ready-to-move residential project spread across 7 acres.
As per registration documents, the flat has a carpet area of 1,298 sq ft and includes two car parking spaces.
The lease transaction incurred a stamp duty of ₹16,300 and registration charges of ₹1,000.
The Lodha Marquise – The Park has been developed by Macrotech Developers Limited (Lodha Group).
Pertinently, former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan and his family members bought a luxury apartment in Mumbai's Elphinstone Road area for ₹11 crores last month.
According to property registration documents accessed by SquareYards¸ the luxury apartment measures 2,158 sq ft (carpet area). It comes with 3 car parking spaces.
A stamp duty of ₹66 lakh and registration fees of ₹30,000 was paid by Zaheer Khan, wife Sagarika Ghatge and brother-in-law Shivjeet Ghatge.
The transaction was registered on February 10, 2025.

Property registrations in the Mumbai city municipal area rose marginally to 12,415 units in December 2024, mainly on better housing demand, according to Knight Frank India.
Mumbai city, under the jurisdiction of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, saw 12,415 property registrations in December against 12,285 in the year-ago period.
Residential properties accounted for 80 per cent of the total December registrations.
The total number of property registrations stood at more than 1,41,000 (1.41 lakh) units in 2024 against 1,26,937 (1.26 lakh) in the previous year.
