A video of King Charles and Queen Camilla from Westminster Abbey has gone viral on the internet, winning the hearts of the desi people. Recently, the British Royal family came together for their annual Commonwealth Day ceremony. At the ceremony, King Charles and Camilla led the royals.
As they arrived at London's Westminster Abbey, King Charles and Queen Camilla were welcomed with the tunes of Dhoom Machale from Bollywood hit Dhoom. The sound performance was by Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band, a popular Hindu Scottish pipe band. The pipe group is known for their desi twist.
Their latest performance at Westminster Abbey left desi viewers in disbelief. While many thought that it might be an edited video from the event, later BBC who extensively reported the Commonwealth Day ceremony, also featured the iconic tunes of Dhoom Machale when King and Queen were being welcomed.
The video was originally shared by the Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band on Instagram. Their post read: “Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band London were honoured to perform at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in the esteemed presence of Their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla. A truly unforgettable moment celebrating unity, heritage, and culture, and follows a long list of performances by the band in front of royalty.”
Responding to the moment, many cracked several jokes linking Dhoom with the royals. One user took to the comment section and wrote, “Band master cooked that day (sic).” “That's clearly Hrithik Roshan disguised as Camilla (sic),” added another.
One more commented, “Leaked footage from Dhoom 4.” Someone also said, “He's coming for the diamond y'all.”
Dhoom is among the cult film franchises in Bollywood. Released first in 2004, the Dhoom franchise saw three installments. While Abhishek Bachchan, and Uday Chopra were a part of all the installments, each new chapter featured a new villain. While John Abraham played the baddie in the first one, Hrithik Roshan became the robber in the second installment alongside Aishwarya Rai.
Dhoom 3 saw Aamir Khan essaying double roles as an anti-hero for the first time.
While there's no update regarding the next installment, Dhoom 4 is said to be on the cards. Previously, reports suggested that Yash Raj Films, might rope in Salman Khan for their fourth film in the franchise, however, rumours about Ranbir Kapoor being considered for Dhoom 4 were also out on the internet.
