Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 32: Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 has kicked off yet another box office club in its five-sunday theatrical run—the ₹1,200 crore club. This new club is just another of the many records the film has created.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, with a gross collection of ₹1429.5 crore, the Sukumar directorial has also become the biggest grosser in India, beating SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion ( ₹1,416 crore), which had been unbeatable for more than 7 years.
The Allu Arjun-starrer had already crossed Baahubali 2 in terms of net collection in 16 days.
This new record comes despite multiple new releases, such as Mufasa, Max, Marco, Vanvaas, and Baby John.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 The Rule's worldwide box office collection stood at ₹1,698 crore on Sunday, January 5, and its overseas collection is ₹268.5 crore.
Currently, it is the second-highest grosser in Indian cinema worldwide and the closest contender to Aamir Khan’s Dangal. To shatter the biggest grosser record, it needs to cross the ₹2,070 crore mark.
In India, the action-drama's total collection was approximately ₹1,206 crore net by Day 32, according to Sacnilk.
With this, the film has not only become India's biggest grosser (net), but has also created a ₹1,200 club at the Indian box office.
Of this, Pushpa 2 earned ₹334.76 crore in Telugu, a whopping ₹791.2 crore in Hindi, and ₹58.16 crore in Tamil language. Its Kannada version collected ₹7.73 crore, while it earned ₹14.15 crore in Malayalam.
The Sukumar-directed film sailed through the turbulent fourth week to recover its earnings on the fifth weekend. As Pushpa 2 regained its footing, the film earned ₹7 crore on Sunday, Day 32, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
On Day 26, Pushpa 2 earned ₹1.3 crore in Telugu, ₹0.18 crore in Tamil, and ₹0.02 crore in Kannada. In Hindi, the film earned ₹5.5 crore.
Sacnilk did not provide data for the film's Day 31 earnings in Malayalam.
