Raayan Box Office Collection day 5: Dhanush's action thriller crossed the ₹50-crore mark on the fifth day of its release, earning a total of ₹52.95 crore in India (Net) until Tuesday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie earned an estimated ₹4.5 crore on Tuesday. Raayan's worldwide collection stands at ₹80.6 crore as of July 31.
Raayan earned an estimated ₹4.5 crore (Net) on Tuesday, taking the movie's total collection to ₹52.95 crore from ₹48.45 crore on Tuesday, according to Sacnilk data. The movie witnessed a sharp drop of 61.97% in collection from ₹15.25 crore on Sunday to ₹5.8 crore on Monday. Raayan's Monday collection consisted of ₹4.75 crore earned from the Tamil version, ₹0.9 crore earned from the Telugu version, and ₹0.15 crore earned from the Hindi version.
Dhanush's fiftieth movie in the lead role had an overall 22.48% Tamil Occupancy on July 30. The action thriller is not only performing well domestically but also doing wonders worldwide. The movie has emerged as one of the biggest-grossing Tamil films of the year globally, collecting ₹70 crore worldwide in three days.
The crime thriller was released on July 26 and did remarkably well in the initial three days. Dhanush has also written and directed the movie. The film is receiving positive response on theatres with actors like Mahesh Babu and other stars applauding Dhanush's performance. "Raayan" also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Saravanan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles.
