Chinese research makes shocking claim about the origin of coronavirus

A researcher from the Wuhan Institute of Virology has made an astonishing claim that coronavirus was purposely engineered by China to infect people. Chao Shao, a researcher, said his colleagues were given four strains of the virus to find out which could spread best.

Chao Shao made this shocking revelation in an exclusive interview with Jennifer Zeng, a member of the International Press Association, who provides first-hand information and unique insights about China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Zeng is also a human rights activist and author.

Shao called the coronavirus a "bioweapon."

He also mentions that several of his colleagues went missing during the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan.

Some of his colleagues revealed that they were sent to hotels where athletes from various countries were staying to "check the health or hygiene conditions".

A virologist does not check health, and Shao suspected they were sent to spread the coronavirus.

In April 2020, Shao said he was sent to Xinjiang to check the health status of the Uyghurs who were imprisoned in the re-education camps so that they could be released sooner.

Since conducting health checks doesn't require a virologist, Shao asserted that he was either sent to spread the virus or to observe how it reacts in humans.

However, Shao said that this is just a small piece of the entire puzzle. So far, the true origin of the pandemic is still under exploration.

Contrary to the Wuhan researcher's statement, the US intelligence agencies did not find any direct evidence that the Covid pandemic stemmed from the Chinese lab. A four-page report by the Office of the Director of national intelligence (ODNI) said the US intelligence community still could not rule out the possibility that the virus came from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology.

"We continue to have no indication that the WIV’s pre-pandemic research holdings included SARS-CoV-2 or a close progenitor, nor any direct evidence that a specific research-related incident occurred involving WIV personnel before the pandemic that could have caused the Covid pandemic,” the report said.

The origins of the coronavirus pandemic have continued to remain a mystery almost since the first human cases were reported in Wuhan in late 2019.

The US' FBI director Christopher Wray said on 28 February that his agency had assessed for some time that the origins of the pandemic were “most likely a potential lab incident” in Wuhan. As of 20 March, four US agencies claimed that Covid-19 was likely the result of natural transmission.
