Earthquake Today: 5.53 magnitude quake strikes Tanzania

An earthquake measuring 5.53 in magnitude rattled Tanzania on Tuesday, 20 January, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles) as per the GFZ.
