Hamas’s Qassam Brigades threatens to execute israeli captives
As Israel intensifies attack on Gaza strip, Hamas’s Qassam Brigades have threatened that they would execute all captives, if Israel continues to bombard and kill civilians in Gaza.
“Any targeting of innocent civilians without warning will be met regretfully by executing one of the captives in our custody, and we will be forced to broadcast this execution," said Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas’ Qassam Brigades, reports Al Jazeea
“We regret this decision but we hold the Zionist enemy [Israel] and their leadership the responsibility for this," he said.

Israel announces largest airstrikes in Gaza
The Israeli Defence Forces have announced that it will carry one of the largest airstrike in Gaza in order against Hamas fighters inretaliation to the deadly surprise attack the Muslim brotherhood unleashed on Israel.
Commoners who have been caught in crossfires have been left without a rescue space even as more and more continue to die in intensified airstrikes by Netanyahu government.
Israeli media also reported that Israel has hit 1000 targets in Gaza, adding that the military has announced it will continue airstrikes on Gaza, even if at the cost of harming Israeli captives in the enclave.

Bernard Cowan, from Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire, reportedly died on Saturday, according to BBC.

A Swedish politician and member of the European Parliament has criticised the move to freeze all developmental aid to Palestine by the European Union.
“Hamas does not represent the entire Palestinian population," Evin Incir told Al Jazeera.
“This is something that Commissioner Varhelyi knows very well, but it seems to be his goal in life to withdraw and hold in the money from the Palestinian Authority and the people of Palestine. I do not understand where these bad feelings from his side comes from towards the Palestinian people. But I know one thing: to punish the Palestinian people for the terrorist attacks of Hamas would not serve anyone anything good. It will only fuel the ongoing violence."

Islamic Jihad claims northern border attack: Report
According to updates by The Times of Israel, Gaza Strip-based Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group has claimed responsibility for the armed infiltration on the Lebanon border earlier today.
The terror group made the announcement on its Telegram channel, calling the attack part of the ongoing war between Israel and terror groups in Gaza.
EU Commission suspends 'all payments immediately' to the Palestinians following the Hamas attack
European Union Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi said Monday the bloc is suspending “all payments immediately" to the Palestinians because of what he called the “scale of terror and brutality" during the attacks on Israel by Hamas.
The surprise announcement by Varhelyi came just hours after EU officials stressed that no EU money whatsoever was going to Hamas in the first place and that contacts had been frozen for 16 years. The EU considers Hamas a terror group.

Mint correspondent Devina Sengupta has reported that India's largest IT services company -Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is monitoring the safety of its employees, their families and is in touch with teams which have employees from India.

EU suspends development aid payments to Palestinians
The EU has halted development aid payments to the Palestinians and is placing 691 million euros ($728 million) of support "under review" after the Hamas assault on Israel, an EU commissioner said Monday, as per AFP reports.
"All payments immediately suspended. All projects put under review. All new budget proposals, including for 2023 postponed until further notice. Comprehensive assessment of the whole portfolio," European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi posted on social media.

Iran President Raisi praises Hamas attack's ‘innovation’
In a call with Islamic Jihad leader Ziyad Nakhaleh, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi hailed the “brilliant and impressive victories" of the “Palestinian resistance,", Iran’s Tasnim news outlet reports.
“You really made the Islamic community happy with this innovative and victorious operation," the president says. “The Zionist regime is declining while the resistance front is conquering the peaks of victory," Raisi adds.
The report comes after Iran rejected allegations it had a role in the Hamas onslaught.
Iran has made support for the Palestinian cause a centerpiece of its foreign policy since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and was one of the first countries to hail Hamas’s devastating surprise assault on Saturday.

Israel declares complete ‘seize’ of Gaza
according to news report by AFP, Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant ordered a "complete siege" on the Gaza Strip as the military pounded the Palestinian territory with air strikes.
"We are putting a complete siege on Gaza... No electricity, no food, no water, no gas -- it's all closed," Gallant said in a video message, referring to the enclave that is overcrowded with 2.3 million people.
"We are fighting animals and are acting accordingly," Gallant said in Hebrew.
