The documents being unsealed are part of a 2015 lawsuit filed against Maxwell by one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre. She is one of the dozens of women who sued Epstein saying he had abused them at his homes in Florida, New York, the U.S. Virgin Islands and New Mexico.
The initial batch of documents reveal the identities of over 170 individuals – including two former US Presidents and several leading personalities.

Stephen Hawking's name was mentioned in an email Epstein sent to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell in January 2015. According to NDTV, People Magazine said that Epstein spoke about offering a reward to disprove a purported allegation made by Virginia Giuffre that Stephen Hawking had taken part in an "underage orgy", as per the documents.
He was among the guests at a barbecue conference sponsored by Epstein. Hawking was on the billionaire's private Caribbean island, Little St James, dubbed “the Island of Sin", according to The Independent. Read more here

According to reports, Prince Andrew, the 63-year-old Duke of York is now accused of being involved in an "underage orgy" on Jeffrey Epstein's island. However, this time The Daily Mail has described it as the "ultimate blow" for Prince Andrew.
As per The Times, a report about Prince Andrew was brought to London police, alleging that he had sexually abused a 17-year-old girl. These accusations reappeared in recently released court records that related to the sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.
To recap, Prince Andrew was stripped of his military honors and advised to step back from active royal duties in 2022 when the allegations initially arose. According to insiders, King Charles' dedication to settling the "Andrew problem" has gained pace following the release of the new documents, the Hindustan Times reported.
According to Reuters, British police said on Friday no new investigation had been launched into allegations relating to Prince Andrew following the release this week of court documents relating to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew, 63, a younger brother of King Charles, has always denied accusations of sexual wrongdoing and in February 2022 settled a US lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre accusing him of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager.
The documents unsealed on Wednesday have revealed sexual assault allegations against the British royal, Prince Andrew, Al Jazeera reported. Johanna Sjoberg, who is one of the many women who have accused Epstein of sexual abuse, said Andrew put his hand on her breast in Epstein's Manhattan townhouse in 2001.
A new batch of unsealed documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of teenage girls was released Thursday. The new records added several hundred pages to a trove of information detailing how the financier leveraged connections to the rich, powerful and famous to recruit his victims and cover up his crimes.
According to Associated Press, the 19 documents, or about 300 pages, were half as many as the over 40 released Wednesday. The documents so far — with more to come — were sprinkled with names of celebrities and politicians who socialized with Epstein or worked with him in the years before he was publicly accused nearly two decades ago of paying underage girls for sex.

Courtney Wild
Courtney Wild accused Jeffrey Epstein of preying on vulnerable underaged girls. She along with other victims sued the federal government in 2011 over Epstein's 2008 plea deal.
Michelle Licata
Michelle Licata accused Jeffrey Epstein of sexual assaulted at the age of 16.
Maria Farmer
Maria Farmer filed with Giuffre's lawsuit, claimed she was sexually assaulted by both Epstein and Maxwell.
Jennifer Araoz
Jennifer Araoz claimed that she was hired outside school when she was 14 to give massage to Epstein when he raped her.
Jena-Lisa Jones
Jones said that she was paid $200 for giving Epstein a massage and was was molested by him at the age of14.

One of the document states, Epstein and Maxwell used to find and recruit girls “to perform massages and work at Epstein’s home," as claimed by Palm Beach Detective Joseph Recarey. Recarey further mentioned that around 30 to 33 girls were recruited by Maxwell.
Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg says that she had been part of a group that spent a few hours at one of Donald Trump's casinos because of bad weather.
“Great, we'll call up Trump and we'll go to (the casino)," she recalled Epstein saying.
Sjoberg wasn't asked if they'd met up with Trump that night.
Later in her testimony, she said she was never asked to give Trump a massage.
Following the revelations on Thursday, Trump's campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told Newsweek that any claims regarding Trump's relationship with Epstein were “thoroughly debunked."
“Ghislaine Maxwell took no position on the Court’s recent decision to unseal documents in Giuffre v. Maxwell as these disclosures have no bearing on her or her pending appeal," read a message from her attorneys that was shared with The Messenger.
“Ghislaine’s focus is on the upcoming appellate argument asking for her entire case to dismissed. She is confident that she will obtain justice in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She has consistently and vehemently maintained her innocence."
There were mentions of Epstein's past friendship with Bill Clinton — who is not accused of any wrongdoing — and of Britain's Prince Andrew, who previously settled a lawsuit accusing him of having sex with a 17-year-old girl who travelled with Epstein.
Meanwhile Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg testified in a newly released deposition that she once met Michael Jackson at his Florida home. However nothing untoward happened with the late pop icon.
Court documents unsealed on Thursday morning claim that Britain's Prince Andrew groped a woman in 2001. The individual who claims to have been victimized by late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein said said the Royal had put his hand on her breast at the late financier's Manhattan townhouse. Prince Andrew has previously denied the allegations after reports surfaced in the media.
