Amid the political crisis in Pakistan, actress Sehar Shinwari has blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spreading chaos.
Taking to Twitter, Shinwari tagged Delhi Police and wrote that she wanted to file a complain against Prime Minister Modi and India's intelligence agency RAW for spreading terrorism in Pakistan. She also expressed hope that the Supreme Court of India would provide justice to her.
"Anyone knows the online link of Delhi Police? I have to file a complaint against Indian PM & Indian Intelligence Agency RAW who are spreading chaos and terrorism in my country Pakistan. If the Indian courts are free (As they claim) then I am sure Indian Supreme Court will provide me justice," Shinwari tweeted.
In response, Delhi Police took a jibe at Sehar Shinwari. The Delhi Police wrote that they still do not have jurisdiction in Pakistan. They further inquired about how she wrote a tweet as the internet has been shut down in Pakistan.
Delhi Police tweeted, “We are afraid we still do not have jurisdiction in Pakistan. But, would like to know how come you are tweeting when the internet has been shut down in your country!”
Notably, mobile broadband services have been blocked across Pakistan since yesterday after videos of violent protests were shared widely on social media platforms as unrest flared up following the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
After the arrest of Imran Khan, a series of protests unleased by the PTI workers across Pakistan including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Karachi, Quetta, Mardan, Bannu, and Chilas.
Protesters in Pakistan entered compounds of army commanders in Lahore and Rawalpindi according to multiple Pakistan media reports.
Several videos surfacing on social media platforms show groups of men, some with their faces covered, entering the gated premises of GHQ with sticks, which they later were seen using to hit the walls.
Meanwhile, human rights group Amnesty International has called on the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to restore internet services in the country and access to Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
Imran Khan was arrested from the premises of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday by Rangers in connection with a warrant issued by the National Accountability Bureau in the Al-Qadir Trust case. After his arrest, the PTI urged supporters in Pakistan to protest and "block all roads, close all shops". Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday termed Imran Khan's arrest as "legal," Geo News reported
