The number of patients waiting over 12 hours for admission after a decision to admit has increased substantially over the past two years
The number of people in England waiting to get routine hospital treatment has reached a new record high. According to the NHS England, at the end of October, 7.2 million people were reportedly waiting to begin treatment. This is the most people since records began in August 2007 and is an increase from the 7.1 million in September.
