New Delhi: US President Donald Trump made a fresh attack against the global order Tuesday in a speech before the United Nations, saying that "globalists" would not triumph.
"The future does not belong to globalists. The future belongs to patriots," Trump said.
"The future belongs to sovereign and independent nations who protect their citizens, respect their neighbors and honor the differences that make each country special and unique," he said.
Trump warned sanctions will be 'tightened' unless Iran behavior changes and added that no responsible nation should subsidize Iran's 'bloodlust' and that all nations have a duty to act on Iran.
Trump also said that North Korea must denuclearize to realize its full promise.
The US President said the trade deal with Japan will be finalized on Wednesday.
Trump urged China to protect Hong Kong's "democratic ways of life".
"WTO needs drastic change given China's actions on trade," said Trump who also said that time for tolerating China trade 'abuses' is over.
Trump said he hopes to strike 'magnificent' new trade deal with Britain.
