This company will pay $100 per hour to watch TikTok content for 10 hours

We all know that spending hours on social media apps, scrolling the content, and checking new trends, all have distracted us only without giving us any significant benefits.

However, one company will give you monetary perks if you scroll TikTok for 10 hours. Yes! you read it right.

Influencer marketing agency Ubiquitous has announced to pay $100 per hour to three people who will watch TikTok for 10 hours. The company is hoping that the decision will help it gauge emerging trends online.

Here's how to apply for a TikTok-watching job:

Firstly, subscribe to Ubiquitous on YouTube and send a short blurb about why you’re the best fit for the job.

It must be noted that the marketing agency is seeking people 18 and older who know how the platform works – particularly trends.

After the watching session, participants will be asked to post their experience on social media and tag the company.

The deadline to apply is 31 May. Candidates will be notified seven days after the application's deadline.

TikTok is a video-sharing social media app owned by Beijing-based tech company ByteDance.

Separately, TikTok has created a new fund where creators will be rewarded for augmented reality effects. TikTok's Effect Creator Rewards fund will pay creators who create AR effects using TiktTok's Effect House tool.

Initially, creators will be paid $700 for each effect that's used in 500,000 unique videos within 90 days of being published. For every 100,000 videos posted with the effect within the same period, the creator will earn $140.
