The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency said it received a report of a further incident involving a tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.

The tanker was struck by an unknown uncrewed aerial vehicle and sustained minor structural damage, UKMTO said.

No casualties or environmental impact were reported, and the vessel was continuing to its next port of call, the agency added.

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of parliament’s national security and foreign policy committee, said that any movement in the Strait of Hormuz without keeping Iran in the loop will fail, as per a report by Iran International.

He said that Iran would pursue any action related to the strait in accordance with its security framework and national interest.

"Negotiations on final Deal will not commence if threats continue,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards fired at least two missiles at commercial ships transiting through the Strait of ​Hormuz on Monday night, Axios reported, citing US officials.

Two commercial ships suffered ‌significant damage but had no casualties, the report said.

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr called Trump's threat "delusional." "Iranians are unfamiliar with the language of threats. So speak to the Iranian people with respect, otherwise we will respond in another language," Zolqadr said in comments carried by state media.

US President Donald Trump on Monday (local time) said the United States would either reach a deal with Iran or "finish the job", while asserting that Washington has the capability to cripple Tehran's critical infrastructure if it chooses to do so.

UKMTO said no casualties or environmental impact had been reported.
