Controversial YouTuber Hannah Pearl Davis has sparked outrage with her views on women's rights, leading to comparisons with Andrew Tate, a well-known figure known for his divisive opinions.
The 26-year-old social media personality has amassed over 1.5 million followers on YouTube by expressing her conservative beliefs, including advocating against women's suffrage and arguing for the illegality of divorce.
One of her most contentious stances is her belief that women should not have the right to vote, which she expressed in a Twitter video. Citing statistics related to sexual history, contraception, abortion and sexually transmitted diseases, she sought to rationalise men's anger towards women. Hannah argued that societal institutions favour women, pointing to support payments for single mothers as an example.
“A lot of people think I’m insane because I don’t think women should vote,” she said in a Twitter video which has been viewed by 1.2 million times so far.
She further claimed that politicians pander to women in order to secure votes, hindering any potential changes to existing laws. Hannah contended that society must consider whether every individual deserves the right to vote, given the implications of financial burdens placed on men due to women's choices.
Hannah's popularity surged after her collaboration with Andrew Tate, who was subsequently arrested on sex trafficking charges in Romania. Since their appearance together, her YouTube subscriber count has increased from 960,000 to 1.54 million, as reported by SocialBlade. Notably, she earlier faced a ban on TikTok, where she had gathered a substantial following of 930,000.
In a video addressing the issue of censorship on social media, Hannah questioned the one-sided nature of the conversation, highlighting the need for open dialogue and consideration of men's issues alongside women's. She voiced her concerns regarding biased censorship, claiming that content that portrays women negatively is often removed or suppressed.
Hannah, born to software entrepreneurs Dan and Jennifer Davis, hails from Chicago, Illinois, but now resides in London. Her affinity for right-wing ideologies was fostered during her college years, influenced by prominent figures such as Ben Shapiro, founder of 'The Daily Wire,' and economist Thomas Sowell.
