As per a report by AP, Mick Jagger on Instagram wrote, “I’m so saddened by the passing of my wonderful friend Tina Turner. She was truly an enormously talented performer and singer. She was inspiring, warm, funny and generous. She helped me so much when I was young and I will never forget her."
Turner performed with Jagger during a show in 1985 and toured with the band in the 60s.

Devoted fans gathered at the imposing entrance of Tina Turner's expansive estate in Kusnacht, Switzerland, on the picturesque Lake Zurich, to express their condolences.
They brought candles and flowers as a tribute to the music legend. Turner and her German husband Erwin Bach resided in Chateau Algonquin for nearly thirty years, including the time when she acquired Swiss citizenship in 2013 and renounced her US citizenship.
Swiss President Alain Berset acknowledged the loss of an iconic figure, stating, "The world has lost an icon."
