• The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X will share the same foundational components, forming the basis of their design and engineering. This common underpinning ensures that both motorcycles benefit from a shared platform while maintaining their distinct characteristics and features.

1/11 Triumph has unveiled the Scrambler 400 X and the Street 400 globally. The motorcycles will be launching in the Indian market soon. Triumph has already started accepting bookings of both the motorcycles.

3/11The vehicle's instrument cluster combines an analog speedometer with a digital display for additional information. Unfortunately, Bluetooth connectivity is not available. However, the vehicle does come equipped with other notable features such as an immobilizer, switchable traction control, and a ride-by-wire throttle system.

4/11The Speed 400 showcases a one-piece seat, a side-mounted exhaust, and a classic handlebar with a grab rail. Even though it holds the title of the smallest motorcycle in the lineup, its unmistakable design instantly identifies it as a Triumph.

5/11As a roadster, the Speed 400 features bar-end mirrors for its design. Additionally, Triumph provides a range of genuine accessories for customers to personalize their motorcycles. These include cosmetic enhancements like knee pads and a quilted seat. Moreover, there are various luggage options available, such as durable panniers, rigid and semi-rigid top boxes, luggage racks, and more, to cater to different storage needs.

6/11Triumph is further extending its offerings by providing accessories like a windscreen, radiator guard, headlight grille and bezel, sump guard, mud splash kit, and engine guards. These additional accessories enhance the functionality and protection of the motorcycle. Moreover, the Speed 400 will be available in three captivating color options, allowing customers to choose their preferred style.

7/11The Speed 400 is equipped with a brand-new TR-series engine that delivers power and performance. This fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine has a displacement of 398.15 cc. It generates an impressive output of 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. To ensure smooth and efficient power delivery, it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch, enhancing both control and comfort during gear shifts.

8/11Triumph is using a new perimeter frame with a bolt-on sub-frame that is suspended by 43mm upside-down Big Piston forks in the front with 140 mm of travel and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear with pre-load adjustment and 130 mm of travel. 

9/11Braking duties are being performed by a 300 mm disc in the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. There is dual-channel ABS on offer as well.
