New Delhi: The newly inducted US built Chinook heavy lift helicopters and the Apache attack helicopters will make their inaugural appearance at the Indian Air Force day show next week, the Indian Air Force announced on Friday.

Three Chinooks and three Apache helicopters will be part of the show that will be held on 8 October.

Besides this India’s light combat aircraft Tejas and mig 21 bison — that the country deployed to thwart an aerial raid by Pakistan earlier this year — are also part of the show at Hindon air base.

In all 67 aircraft and helicopters will be taking part in this year’s show.
