New Delhi: The Rouse Avenue court on Friday issued a notice to Delhi police seeking action taken on a complaint and seeking directions for filing a First Information Report (FIR) against Congress President Rahul Gandhi for allegedly making seditious comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2016.
The matter will be next heard on May 15.
The complaint, filed by Advocate Joginder Tuli, referred to Rahul Gandhi's speech at a public meeting in 2016 where he accused Modi of hiding behind the blood of soldiers and cashing in on their sacrifice. The complaint sought direction to the police for filing an FIR against Rahul Gandhi for his remarks.
