The energy sector presents unparalleled opportunities for innovators and out-of-the-box thinkers to make a significant impact. The second edition of Shell India’s flagship event, Changemakers of Tomorrow 2024, held in Bengaluru on September 9 aimed at this and much more. The event brought together senior government officials, industry leaders, and the next generation of innovators in the energy space to power progress towards shaping a brighter and more resilient energy future. The day-long event was inaugurated by Madhu Bangarappa, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Government of Karnataka, and Gaurav Gupta (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary, Energy and Water Resources, Government of Karnataka.
Changemakers of Tomorrow 2024 witnessed participation from stakeholders from across the world, who came together to deliberate upon a wide range of energy-related topics. The event also came as an opportunity to engage with the very best of the energy ecosystem. It showcased flagship initiatives such as Shell’s NXplorers program featuring school students, and Shell E4 incubated start-ups, in addition to pioneering ideas in the space of low-carbon technologies and energy storage.

Other highlights of the event included an insightful panel discussion about the significance of collaboration in expanding energy choices towards a low-carbon future in India. This saw attendance from leading industry experts Kamal Bali, President and Managing Director, Volvo Group India; Vijay Nirani, Managing Director, Nirani Group and TruAlt Energy; and Mansi Madan Tripathy, Chairperson, Shell Group of Companies in India.
