It has barely been 24 hours since Ambati Rayudu announced his retirement from International cricket and he has already been trolled.
The 33-year-old announced his retirement from international cricket after he was overlooked for the World Cup not only initially, but also after two batsmen were ruled out of the tournament with Injury.
Iceland Cricket rubbed salt into Rayudu’s injuries by putting in a tweet in which they had an application form for the residency of the country.
"Agarwal has three professional wickets at 72.33 so at least @RayuduAmbati can put away his 3D glasses now. He will only need normal glasses to read the document we have prepared for him. Come join us Ambati. We love the Rayudu things," Iceland Cricket said on Twitter.
Rayudu had been a regular for Team India leading up to the World Cup but the exclusion must have come as a bit of a shock to his system.
India have already qualified for the semifinal of the World Cup and take on Sri Lanka in their last match of the first stage in Leeds on Saturday.
India will play either England or New Zealand in their semifinal and that will depend on who finishes top of the table.
