Eight teams have been divided into two groups of four each who will play each other once. The top two teams will advance to the Super 4 stage. In the Super 4 stage, all teams will play each other once and the top two advance to the final.
Net Run Rate (NRR) is calculated by subtracting the average runs per over scored against a team from the average runs per over scored by the team throughout the tournament.
Group A includes India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman. Group B features Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong.
The top two teams from each group (A and B) qualify for the Super Four stage, based on points and NRR.
