GT vs PBKS, IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans' ace spin all-rounder Rashid Khan on Tuesday etched his name into the list of players with 150 wickets in the Indian Premier League while playing against Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Rashid Khan achieved this feat by dismissing Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya on the fourth delivery of the seventh over, with Sai Sudharsan completing the catch.

Rashid reached his 150th wicket in his 122nd match, making him the third-fastest bowler to achieve this milestone after Lasith Malinga and Yuzvendra Chahal. While Malinga took 150 wickets in 105 matches, Chahal achieved the record in 118 matches.

Following Rashid Khan is Mumbai Indians' star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who reached 150 wickets in the IPL in 124 matches. Dwayne Bravo achieved the feat in 137 matches, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 138 matches to etch his name in the record books.

After winning the toss, Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill decided to bowl first and invited the guests to bat.

Batting first, Punjab Kings posted 243/5 in 20 overs, with Shreyas Iyer smashing 97 off just 37 deliveries at a staggering strike rate of 230.34. His explosive innings included five boundaries and nine sixes.

Priyansh Arya (47) and Shashank Singh (44) also made valuable contributions to the total.

For Gujarat Titans, Sai Kishore picked up three wickets, while Kagiso Rabada and Rashid Khan claimed one wicket each.
