ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule

The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Men's Cricket World Cup will be held in India from 5 October to 19 November. It will be the 13th edition of the tournament and the fourth time India has hosted the event.

The tournament will feature ten teams - India, Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Netherlands and Sri Lanka - who will play each other once in a round-robin format with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-finals.

The opening match of the 2023 World Cup will be between reigning champions England and 2019 runners-up New Zealand in Ahmedabad on October 5, while India will play their first match against five-time World Cup winners Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8. The much-anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan will take place in Ahmedabad on October 14.

The semi-finals of the ODI World Cup will be played at the Eden Garden in Kolkata and the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, while the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.
