IND vs IRE 1st T20I Highlights: Ireland stun India by 34 runs

Matthew Humphreys removes Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh in the 19th over as India are bowled out for 148. Ireland win by 34 runs in a stunning upset in Belfast.

Jai Moondra bowls the eighteenth over as Harshit Rana launches him for a six. A sitter is dropped at long-on. India move to 147/8 after eighteen overs with Harshit on 8 and Arshdeep on 2.

Jai Moondra removes Shivam Dube for 25 in the sixteenth over, caught and bowled. Gareth Delany comes on in the seventeenth and dismisses Axar Patel for 15. India are now 138/8 after seventeen overs with Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh at the crease.

Harry Tector bowls the thirteenth over as Shivam Dube launches him for a six. Matthew Hollard finishes his excellent spell in the fourteenth. Matthew Humphreys returns in the fifteenth and is taken for fourteen runs including a six from Dube as India reach 129/6 after 15 overs.

Matthew Humphreys removes Tilak Varma for 19 in the eleventh over. Matthew Hollard returns in the twelfth and dismisses Washington Sundar for 9. Shivam Dube is the new batter as India reach 100/6 after 12 overs.

Harry Tector and Liam McCarthy bowl quiet overs as Tilak Varma and Washington Sundar add just nine runs in two overs. India reach 89/4 after 10 overs, needing 94 more from the remaining 60 balls with Tilak on 19 and Washington on 4.

Harry Tector bowls a quiet seventh over. Liam McCarthy returns in the eighth and removes Abhishek Sharma for 50 just after he reaches his fifty off 20 balls. India move to 80/4 after eight overs with Tilak Varma on 16.

Jai Moondra bowls a quiet fifth over. Matthew Hollard returns in the sixth and removes Shreyas Iyer for 3, caught at deep square. Tilak Varma comes in and smashes two boundaries as India reach 68 for 3 after six overs with Abhishek Sharma on 47 and Tilak on 8.

Matthew Hollard comes into the attack and strikes with his second ball, removing Ishan Kishan for 1 caught behind. Abhishek Sharma continues to dominate, reaching 46 off 15 balls with another four as India move to 57/2 after four overs. Shreyas Iyer is the new batter on 1.

Matthew Humphreys starts with a poor first over as Abhishek Sharma launches him for a six and two fours. Jai Moondra comes on and strikes with his first ball in international cricket, bowling Sanju Samson for 5. Ishan Kishan walks in but Abhishek continues the onslaught. Liam McCarthy is taken for 21 in the third over as Abhishek Sharma smashes five boundaries in six balls to race to 38 off just 11 deliveries. India are 45/1 after three overs.

Arshdeep Singh removes Gareth Delany for 49 in the nineteenth over, caught at deep backward square by Axar. Liam McCarthy hits a four but falls for 7 in the final over as Axar returns and takes two more wickets, including a run out of Matthew Humphreys. Ireland finish on 182/9 in 20 overs.

Prasidh Krishna bowls a 27-run over in the seventeenth as Delany smashes three consecutive sixes to race to 43. Axar Patel returns in the next over and removes George Dockrell for 19, caught at backward point by Arshdeep. Liam McCarthy comes in.

Washington Sundar comes into the attack in the sixteenth over and concedes nineteen runs, including a no-ball six to Dockrell. Prasidh Krishna returns and is immediately punished as Dockrell hammers him for four and Delany follows up with four and six. Ireland accelerate sharply to 137 for 5 after sixteen overs with Dockrell on 14 and Delany on 21.

Harshit Rana removes Lorcan Tucker for 50 in the fifteenth over after he pulls a slower short ball straight to Tilak Varma at deep midwicket. George Dockrell comes to the crease and gets off the mark with a single as Ireland reach 118/5 after fifteen overs. Gareth Delany is on 16 and Dockrell on 2.

Prasidh Krishna bowls the twelfth over as Tucker scoops him for four. Axar Patel returns in the thirteenth and leaks sixteen runs, with Tucker smashing a full toss for four, surviving a dropped catch at long-on, and launching a six over midwicket. In the fourteenth over Shivam Dube returns and Tucker pulls him for four before bringing up his fifty with two runs off a thick inside edge. Ireland accelerate to 111/4 after 14 overs with Tucker on 50 and Delany on 13.

Shivam Dube strikes in the eighth over, removing Benjamin Calitz for 15 after he skies a short ball to fine leg where Prasidh Krishna takes a good catch. Gareth Delany gets off the mark with a single. Lorcan Tucker then slashes a slower short ball over cover for four. In the eleventh over Axar Patel comes into the attack and concedes ten runs, including a big six from Tucker and a dropped sitter at long-off by Abhishek as Delany survives. Ireland reach 78/4 after 11 overs.

In the fifth over Arshdeep Singh concedes just three runs as Lorcan Tucker gets off the mark with a scooped two and a single. Harshit Rana returns in the sixth over and beats the bat multiple times with extra bounce but leaks three runs including a wide. Ireland crawl to 36 for 3 after six overs with Lorcan Tucker on 4 and Benjamin Calitz on 1.

Arshdeep Singh opens the attack and concedes ten runs in the first over, with Tim Tector finishing it with a big six over square leg. Harshit Rana strikes in the second over, removing Ross Adair for 12 after he cracks two quick fours. Arshdeep returns in the third over and removes Harry Tector for a duck after Tim survives a dropped catch at long-on for four. Harshit then dismisses Tim Tector for 17 in the fourth over as he charges and skies one to mid-off. Benjamin Calitz survives his first ball as Ireland reach 30 for 3. Lorcan Tucker is the new batter.

"He's a gun player but we have some tremendous players who have done well for us so we are backing them. He will get his chance when the time comes," says Shreyas Iyer.
