A fifty from Heinrich Klaasen and knocks from Travis Head (46) and Abhishek Sharma (48) took Sunrisers Hyderabad to 226/8 in 20 overs after being put into bat by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday.

On a pitch where both captains wanted to bowl first, Head and Abhishek laid the platform with an opening stand of 82 runs off 34 balls to set up the tone. At a time when it looked like SRH would go 250-plus, it was Kartik Tyagi and Blessing Muzarabani who brought KKR back in the game.

For KKR, Muzarabani (4/41), Vaibhav Arora (2/47) Kartik Tyagi (1/48) and Anukul Roy (1/16) shared the wickets.
