Today’s IPL 2026 match is between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings in Match 12 of the season.

10 teams are participating in IPL 2026 for the coveted trophy. They are Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants

In IPL 2026, a total of 74 matches will be played - 70 league games and four in knockouts.

The afternoon matches in IPL 2026 will start at 3:30 PM IST while the evening games have a 7:30 PM IST start.

A total of 12 double headers will be there in IPL 2026. While there will be four double-headers in the first phase from March 28 to April 12, the second phase, from April 13 to May 24, will have eight.

The first key rivalry of IPL 2026 is the Southern Derby between RCB and CSK on April 5 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. On April 12, Mumbai Indians will host RCB in another high-profile game. Mumbai Indians will take on CSK on April 23 in another blockbuster game.
