Led by MS Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are now gearing up to face the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the first Qualifier on May 23. However, following their triumph over Delhi Capitals (DC), there was a noticeable heated conversation between skipper MS Dhoni and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, which sparked intrigue among fans and the media.
While the exact reason for the exchange remains undisclosed, some spectators have speculated that it may be related to Jadeja's performance in the match. Fans on social media pointed out that Jadeja's bowling figures were not up to par, as he conceded 50 runs in his allotted four overs and managed to claim only a single wicket.
As MS Dhoni has been known for his strict approach towards the team's bowlers this season, it is plausible that he may have expressed his dissatisfaction to Jadeja, as suggested by fans on Twitter.
CSK, on Instagram, shared an image of MS Dhoni interacting with teammates (no Jadeja in the image though). “When MS Dhoni speaks, we all know what to do. We listen, we follow, and we win,” the caption added without referring to ‘Sir’ Jadeja.
A section of fans earlier expressed their support for Ravindra Jadeja, acknowledging the potential challenges he might be facing. One Twitter user sympathetically commented on the situation, highlighting the inner turmoil Ravindra Jadeja might be experiencing.
They mentioned that despite Jadeja's outstanding performances with three Man of the Match awards, it must be challenging for him to deal with the lack of support from his own team's spectators and continued criticism.
In response to Jadeja's cryptic tweet about Karma, his wife Rivaba Ravindrasinh Jadeja also took to social media, retweeting her husband's post with the words, "Follow your own Path.."
CSK will take on Hardik Pandya’s boys on May 23 at 7:30 PM. Even if Dhoni and Jadeja have some differences, CSK would like them to sort it out as soon as possible so that it doesn’t affect their performance.
