3:36 PM IST That ends a totally one-sided match. England carry forward the points from the wins into the Super Six while Scotland have tried all that they could, though they could have been better. Despite such a heavy defeat, they sit above Zimbabwe in the points table, which means that if Pakistan beat Zimbabwe on Thursday, Scotland will also go through to the Super Six. Three matches are scheduled on 22nd January, 2026 - Zimbabwe vs Pakistan, Ireland vs Japan and South Africa vs West Indies. The first two are more of a knockout type of match but we believe that all three games would be interesting. All three matches start at 7.30 am GMT, but our buildup will begin well in advance. So do tune in early. ADIOS! TAKE CARE!
3:29 PM IST The victorious skipper of England Under-19, THOMAS REW, is very happy with the win. Says that Mayes' knock was a special innings and even that partnership between Mayes and Moores was brilliant to watch. On the team's chat as a batting group on setting any particular score as a target, Rew says that they don't really like to set too many targets, emphasizing that all batters just like to go out and bat. Adds that Mayes played his own game as well but yes, there was a constant attempt to target the shorter boundaries. On his abundant bowling resources, Thomas says that the big thing for his bowlers is short spells. Explains that saves energy and bowlers have a few more overs going at the back end. Further says that whenever he is thinking of introducing a bowler, he is always ready, due to the short spells. On their next set of games being in Bulawayo, where they had their warm-up games, TR remembers that England played India down there. Informs that his side will have a bit more practice as they touch down in Bulawayo a couple of days early to try and assess the conditions. Wants to take this momentum into the Super Six stage.
