3:13 PM IST Ishan Kishan, the captain of Jharkhand, collects the winners' medal and comes down for a chat. On being asked what he had for lunch, he joked that he had nothing except for love from his teammates. Also says that after they lost Virat Singh, he just tried to take on the bowlers. Adds that Kumar Kushagra supported him really well and with that, he had the confidence to score big runs as his partner was looking good in form. Also says that it was a good wicket to bat on and they were really clear with their plan, which was to just trust their personal instincts and play in their own way. Ends up saying that the bowlers were outstanding throughout the tournament and most importantly, they listened to what he was saying.
3:08 PM IST Anukul Roy is adjudged the PLAYER OF THE SEASON for his excellent all-round performance, which included 18 wickets, 9 catches and 300-plus runs. He says that all of them worked hard and the effort paid off. Adds that he focused more on his batting this season, as his bowling was working out well but wanted to take more responsibility with the bat. Further says that it is important to vary pace in T20 cricket and adds that he used to do power hitting in the nets but now he bats for more hours in the nets.

They were trying to get the wickets of Ishan Kishan and Kumar Kushagra as they were looking fabulous with the bat, but even after that, Anukul Royand Robin Minz ended the inning well. Adds that he is proud of the team for pulling through to the final of this contest.
