Rumours have been abound that the World Cup exit could bring the curtain down on the illustrious career that MS Dhoni has had.

India’s exit at the hands of New Zealand in the semi final of the World Cup has only fuelled the fire the MS Dhoni could hang up his boots.

Though there has been plenty of speculation on various platforms nothing so far has been confirmed. Virat Kohli after the defeat to the Kiwis said that neither he nor his team mates knew anything about the retirement.

There has also been plenty of support on social media from the fans urging MS Dhoni to not retire. In fact, #DoNotRetireDhoni has been trending on twitter.

Apart from the fans, the legend of Indian music Industry Lata Mangeshkar has also urged MS Dhoni to not retire. She took to twitter to say the same,

“Namaskar M S Dhoni ji.Aaj kal main sun rahi hun ke Aap retire hona chahte hain.Kripaya aap aisa mat sochiye.Desh ko aap ke khel ki zaroorat hai aur ye meri bhi request hai ki Retirement ka vichar bhi aap mann mein mat laayiye.
